FUTURE RESEARCH AND PROJECTS
1. Coming Soon- Purchase and drink our private label Purified Colorado Water. Please recycle each and every bottle (#1 Plastic)
2. A portion of the proceeds will be deposited into a fund that will eventially allow Gothic Mountain to plant trees in our community.
3. We a currently conducting a study on community composting to realistically determine how we as a community can initiate a central communal composting center. This will take great effort and support from the towns of Crested Butte and Mount Crested Butte, O.R.E, Gunnison county, and the residents of our valley. Working towards a goal of a private-public venture will enable us to put forth grant applications as soon as our research and planning have been completed.
4. We are also excited to work on a program callred Pay-to-throw for trash removal by Gothic Mountain. It is a program that will cut the cost of trash collection and essentially reduce the amount of trash that we all create, with more emphasis on recycling.
Gothic mountain will be collecting all of the trash and recycling for the local events.

Gothic Mountain is working with local builders on construction waste recycling. If sheet rock can be placed in a separate container, it can be broken down and reused. Scrap wood can be placed in a separate dumpster and it can be reused in many ways. It can be mulched and used in compost, used for fuel, or it can be shredded and can be reused for new wood. We are also investigating the traditional and innovative uses for wood that would normally be wasted.
The construction waste recycling program will reduce the amount of waste going to the landfill and it can be reused for many different things.
Gothic Mountain is currently working with the Gunnison County for new recycling programs.
Gothic Mountain is starting May 1st, Gothic Mountain will offer to residents and commercial business' trash pick up combined with recycling collection. If you would like to sign up for curbside pick-up Click Here.
